Pitkin County search and rescue crews have suspended until Wednesday recovery of a Dillon climber who fell to his death on Saturday.
The body of the 41 year-old man is in a spot that is difficult and dangerous to reach, without a helicopter and none will be available until Wednesday, said Pitkin County Sheriff’s deputy Jason Kasper.
The man, who hasn’t been identified, was climbing in the area south of Pyramid Peak, when he fell.
His climbing partner reported the fall.
