BOULDER — A top student board member said Monday that the University of Colorado at Boulder’s Student Government is working this school year to “distance itself from 4/20.” Ajay Thomas, president of the Anschutz Medical Campus student senate, said his peers on the Boulder campus are working with administrators to try to eliminate the unofficial smoke-out that has drawn 10,000 participants in past years. It marks the first time student leaders have said they want to help administrators end the event.
