The 10-acre Blue Jay fire northwest of Boulder is approximately 75 percent contained today.

The fire started yesterday between Nugget Hill and Walker Mountain in National Forest land. No homes or structures are threatened and no evacuation orders have been issued.

Helicopters were called in yesterday for water drops and overnight light rain fell in the area.

A 20-person crew along with three engines will be working today to secure the line and mop up the fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and there is an ongoing investigation.
