The Blue Jay Fire southeast of Jamestown is now 100-percent contained, officials announced this morning.

The fire is believed to be about 10 acres in size and is contained to U.S. Forest Service property, according to Reghan Cloudman, a spokeswoman with the forest service.

Cloudman said that firefighters plan to “mop up” the fire and monitor the area of Slaughterhouse Gulch near Blue Jay Mine, about five miles northwest of Boulder.
