A 70-year-old Lakewood bicyclist was killed Thursday when he was hit by a sport utility vehicle.
Lyle F. Klataske was struck about 6:30 a.m. as he pedaled along West Morrison Road near South Owens Lane, Lakewood police said.
Police don’t expect to charge the driver. “It would initially appear the bicyclist may have turned in front of the vehicle,” police said.
