A group promoting a scenic 40-mile driving loop in the foothills and mountains above Denver sponsored a weekend litter cleanup.
Volunteers picked up trash along the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway on Saturday. The Lariat Loop Heritage Alliance is sponsoring the cleanup with help from EDS Waste Solutions and several civic, recreation and service organizations.
The loop includes portions of Lookout Mountain Road, U.S. 40, Colorado 74 and Colorado 93.
