The victim of a weekend shooting near downtown Denver has been identified as an 18-year-old Denver woman.
Katrishay Quarles was shot in the chest following a large fight in the 2200 block of Lawrence Avenue early Saturday morning, police said.
Quarles’ last known address was at a home for troubled teens and families, according to a public records search.
Police are still investigating what led to the shooting.
