Passenger traffic at Denver International Airport was up slightly in July over the same period a year ago, but two days were blockbusters.
A total of 5,099,489 passengers were recorded in July, a 0.8 percent increase from the 5,060,508 travelers passing through DIA in July 2010.
July 2 was the second-busiest day in the airport’s 16-year history, with an estimated 177,757 travelers. July 29 claimed the third-busiest day, with an estimated 177,668 travelers.
