BRIGHTON, Colo.—Colorado wildlife officials are trying to determine why there has been an increase in coyote attacks.
The latest attack involved a 3-year-old Broomfield girl on Monday, the third in two months. All three victims were treated for minor injuries.
According to the Denver Post ( ), the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife has killed nine coyotes in the area since the first attack.
Wildlife officials say one coyote may have committed all of the attacks, but it is more likely that the behavior has been transferred down a family pack.
