A man called Fort Collins police this afternoon and said he had accidentally shot his 21-year-old brother.
The wounded man is in serious condition at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Fort Collins police said.
The brothers’ names have not been released.
Police said in a media release tonight that detectives are in the early stages of the investigation, so no other details were released.
The shooting happened about 4 p.m. in the 3000 block of Chase Drive in Fort Collins, police said tonight.
