Authorities plan to resume their search for a missing Boulder man early Sunday, after teams of rescuers were unable to find him today.
The Long Lake Trail at Brainard Lake was closed Saturday during the search for 72-year-old Ernest “Jon” Macaulayman, who disappeared Friday.
Macaulay failed to meet with family early Friday, according to a news release by Sgt. Troy Wolf.
Boulder County Sheriff’s deputies discovered his vehicle parked at the Long Lake trailhead in the Brainard Lake recreational area west of Boulder, according to Wolf.
