MIAMI — As Hurricane Ophelia moves north, forecasters have lifted a tropical storm watch for Bermuda but added one for the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland. The National Hurricane Center in Miami says that with maximum sustained winds near 135 mph, Ophelia was to pass east of Bermuda on Saturday, weaken and be near the Avalon Peninsula on Monday.
