LITTLETON — A man escaped from a hospital Sunday and then threw rocks at the windows of a cellphone store, hoping to get arrested.
Littleton police said they arrested the man at the T-Mobile store at West Mineral Avenue and Broadway.
A viewer sent 9News a tip alerting the station about the incident and said the man was still in a hospital gown while throwing rocks.
Police said the man was breaking the windows because he wanted to go back to jail. He will face a misdemeanor charge.
