A man was formally charged with 25 counts of theft Wednesday after a summer-long series of break-ins on the Auraria college campus.
Cassidy Vandermeulen, 30, was charged with 25 counts of burglary, 25 counts of theft, possession of burglary tools and possession of a controlled substance, all felonies, according to a news release from the Denver district attorney’s office.
Vandermeulen remained in custody at the Denver Detention Center, and his bail was set at $25,000. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Courtroom 2100 on Oct. 7, at 9:30 a.m. The Denver Post
