Bela Fleck is back touring with his original lineup, the Flecktones, an incarnation in which the banjo wizard plays anything but traditional bluegrass. Flanked by innovative bassist Victor Wooten, Fleck makes progressive music that bridges the gap between jazz fusion, jam bands and Appalachian bluegrass. The group wowed many of us at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival earlier this year, which you can revisit in its entirety at . Catch the tour at the Ogden Theatre on April 8. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.($35, )

Game was once part of hip-hop’s most exciting new crew, G-Unit, though the troubled MC quickly fell out of synch with rap mogul and group leader 50 Cent. Perhaps as a result, Game never matched the success of his 2004 debut “The Documentary,” though he still retained name recognition in the worlds of both pop and hip-hop. Touring behind his August release, “The R.E.D. Album,” Game will hit the Ogden Theatre on Nov. 3. Tickets are already on sale. ($29.50, )
