DENVER—Hundreds of people took part in a peaceful Occupy Denver protest despite chilly temperatures and a light rain.
The Denver Post reports ( ) that protesters marched through puddles and held signs denouncing lenient government policies toward financial institutions.
Bioengineering graduate student at the Univeristy of Colorado Denver student Matt Davidson says the hope is similr demonstrations across the country give politicians a reason to stand up to corporations.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson says there were no arrests.
