Denver police are investigating a shooting in the northeast part of the city that sent one man to the hospital early Saturday morning.

At 3:30 a.m., officers were called to 15094 E. Andrews Drive on a report of shots fired, said Detective John White, a spokesman with the Denver Police Department.

After arriving, officers found one man outside the home with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to Denver Health Medical Center. His injuries are non- life-threatening.

It appears that the man was shot outside the home after an argument with the suspect.

Police have not arrested the suspect and a description was not available.
