BOSTON — An endangered female zebra and her foal escaped from their exhibit Saturday morning and forced the evacuation of the Franklin Park Zoo.
Operator Zoo New England said the baby broke through the exhibit’s electrical fencing and its mother followed. They later returned to their enclosure. No injuries to animals or humans were reported.
