Most of the people who lost power this afternoon are back up and running, an Xcel Energy spokesman said this afternoon.
A pole at 2121 East Colfax Ave. caught on fire, explained spokesman Gabriel Romero.
At 12:34 p.m. today power went out to between 6,000 and 7,000 people in the area from Harrison to Pennsylvania and 2nd to 23rd.
By 2 p.m. most of the outage had been alleviated. About 300 customers will not have power until the pole itself is replaced later this afternoon, Romero said.
