Robert Randolph and his family band are something every live music fan should experience at least once. Part Southern tent revival, part blues, part jam, Randolph is an electric performer who has a way of getting even the most timid of audience members to shake and groove. His pedal steel chops are among the sharpest in the game, and his throaty gospel growl is equally captivating. Tickets for tonight’s show at the Boulder Theater, $31, are available through .
Mac Miller is fresh out of high school, has yet to sign to a major label or work with big name producers, and he’s still one of hip-hop’s most buzzed about names. Think Eminem minus the dark side, and A Tribe Called Quest minus the street cred. Or go to YouTube, and watch his video for “Donald Trump” (or the video of the Donald, himself, discussing the song) and see for yourself. Tickets for both Saturday’s show at the Fox Theatre and Sunday’s at the Ogden Theatre are sold out, but try your luck outside the venues.
