Denver police released video and offered a $2,000 reward today, which they hope will put them on the trail of a man seen breaking into cars at local fitness clubs earlier this week.
The man took electronics and cash from cars at 24 Hour Fitness at 2770 S. Colorado Blvd. between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Monday, the video shows
The same man is suspected of breaking into cars at the 24 Hour Fitness club at 7600 East Academy Blvd., about 5 miles away, between 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.
He is described as black, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 155 pounds. He left in a white Dodge Caliber that was missing a front hub cap on the passenger’s side and also missing its front license plate.
The man wore a blue striped hoodie and white gym shorts with a blue stripe, police said.
