Kyle DeLaurell had two goals and an assist to lead the Air Force hockey team to a 7-2 win over Alabama-Huntsville on Saturday night in Huntsville.
Casey Kleisinger scored the Falcons’ first goal to tie the game at 1-all with seven minutes left in the first period, and Air Force (3-2-1) scored the next six goals. The Chargers (0-7-1) scored the final goal of the game with six seconds remaining. Air Force goaltender Stephen Caple stopped 19-of-21 shots.

Megan Plourde had seven kills, seven blocks and an ace to pace the Colorado State volleyball team to a 25-16, 25-13, 25-19 victory over Air Force at the academy.
• Faime Kingsley had 16 kills on a .333 hitting percentage and added five blocks to lead the University of Denver to a 23-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-13 win over host South Alabama.
• Kerra Schroeder had 10 kills, four digs and three aces, but Colorado was swept (25-18, 25-14, 25-17) on the road by No. 3-ranked Southern California.
Pennel, Kleppin pace Western State to RMAC titles.
Western State swept the men’s and women’s team titles — and individual titles as Tyler Pennel and Lauren Kleppin won the men’s and women’s races — to lead the Mountaineers to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference cross country championships at Willis Case Golf Course.
The WSC men edged archrival Adams State 28-31, and the Mountaineers’ women squeaked past the ASC women 27-31.
