DENVER—The warm temperatures in Denver and Colorado Springs have broken records.

The National Weather Service reports it was 80 degrees at Denver International Airport on Monday afternoon. That broke the previous record for the date of 79 degrees, last set in 1999.

The Gazette reports ( ) the Colorado Springs airport reached 78 degrees Monday afternoon, topping the previous high of 77 set in 1952.

A change is on the way though. Forecasters are predicting snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.
