DENVER—President Barack Obama is in Denver for his second visit in less than a month.
Obama arrived in Denver on Tuesday evening for fundraisers at the Pepsi Center downtown for his re-election effort. The visit came after the president taped an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno in California.
Last month, Obama visited a Denver high school to promote his jobs plan. Obama’s last fundraising trip to Colorado came last year—but he was raising money for Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet, not himself.
The president plans to give a speech Wednesday to students at the Auraria campus.
