A Fort Collins man accused of sexually assaulting seven girls over a two- year period was arrested Tuesday.

James William Swets, 46, was arrested on multiple felony counts after seven girls were identified, but authorities believe there may be more victims, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

The assaults allegedly involved inappropriate touching. Swets also is accused of providing alcohol and cigarettes to the girls, as well as luring them to locations for the purpose of sexual contact.

Swets was arrested on five counts of sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse, one count of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, seven counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, two counts of enticement of a child and one count of unlawful sexual contact.
