Fire crews are putting out hot spots after an attic fire in an Arvada home today.

At 11:07 a.m., firefighters were called to a one-story home at 6190 Everett St. on a report of a structure fire, said Scott Pribble, spokesman for the Arvada Fire Department.

After arriving, firefighters found a fire in the home’s attic. Crews contained the blaze to the attic.

No one was at the home when the fire started and no injuries were reported.

Crews are still on scene putting out hot spots.

There are downed power lines near the home, but investigators have not said whether they caused the fire.
