BOULDER — Boulder police said one man entered three homes and tried to sexually assault one resident early Sunday in the 1100 block of Lincoln Place.

The crimes were committed between 4 and 5 a.m. by a man described as white, in his mid-20s and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He has a medium build and short, light-brown hair in a buzz-cut style. He had no facial hair or glasses. He wore a dark jacket and blue jeans, police said.

“The suspect entered through unlocked front doors of all three residences,” Boulder police said in a media release. “The suspect’s movement within bedroom areas awakened each of the female victims.”

The neighborhood is off College Avenue about five blocks west of the University of Colorado campus.

Police urged residents to be sure their doors and windows are locked.
