Westbound lanes of Interstate 70 have reopened at Genesee following a traffic accident this afternoon.
A car collided with a semi-tractor trailer at about 4:30 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The road reopened at 6 p.m.
At least one person in the car was injured and airlifted to a hospital, but there were no other details about the extent of that person’s injuries or the cause of the crash.
