LOVELAND, Colo.—Loveland police say some of the hundreds of cases of credit and debit card fraud reported recently in northern Colorado can be tied to a breach at the Metrolux 14 Theatres in Loveland.

A representative of Metropolitan Theatres told police last Thursday that an investigation by the company found there had been an external breach into its computer system. The company says the breach has been removed and their systems are now secure.

Local, state, and federal law-enforcement officers met on Tuesday to exchange information on their investigations. Loveland police say they now estimate there have been about 1,180 fraud cases reported so far around northern Colorado.
