BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Snowboarder Chris Klug, who won a bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics, is among five inductees joining the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame.
Also being inducted at a ceremony Friday in Broomfield are Ronn Allred, who developed Mountain Village in Telluride and helped the town become a year-round destination; Paralympian Jack Benedick; Charles Elliott, who drove interest in skiing in the San Luis Valley; and John Garnsey, who helped bring the 1989, 1999 and 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships to Colorado.
Other honorees include skier Lindsey Vonn as competitor of the year.
