COLORADO SPRINGS — A high school senior fueling his SUV was carjacked at gunpoint Thursday night, minutes after leaving a football banquet, The Gazette reports.
“I really didn’t believe it was happening,” said Gabe Solis, 17.
Deputies searched for two men — one armed with a revolver — after the carjacking at 7-Eleven, 5805 Palmer Park Blvd., said Lt. Lari Sevene, an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
