Getting your player ready...

Arizona at Colorado, 12:30 p.m., Saturday, FCS Pacific

For the record: Arizona (2-7, 1-6 Pac-12) entered Saturday’s home game against Utah needing to win its last four games to become bowl-eligible. But the Utes prevailed 34-21.

Streaking: Senior quarterback Nick Foles, a 6-foot-5, 245-pounder, entered last weekend’s game as the nation’s completions leader with 32 per game. With 25 completions against Utah, Foles dropped to second (31.6) behind Texas Tech junior Seth Doege (32.7).

Who’s hot: Of the 46 completions for senior wide receiver David Douglas this season, 40 have come against Pac-12 opponents. That includes 10 catches for 156 yards and two TDs against Utah and seven for 120 yards versus Oregon.

Who’s not: Arizona entered last weekend’s games last among Pac-12 teams in total defense, yielding 467.2 yards a game.Key stat: Foles was intercepted twice by Utah and has thrown 10 picks this season, a relatively high number among the nation’s top-rated QBs.

FYI: Arizona is 1-2 since the firing of head coach Mike Stoops on Oct. 10. Stoops, younger brother of Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, was 41-50 in eight seasons but 23-16 in three years before this season. Defensive coordinator Tim Kish is the interim head coach.
