A heat lamp being used to keep a puppy warm Sunday night destroyed the majority of a Lakewood home, West Metro Fire Rescue said this evening.
The puppy was found safe by firefighters under the deck of the home, but a cat died in the fire.
The home’s five residents escaped from the 10 p.m. fire in the 8700 block of West Floyd Drive.
