DENVER—Winter storm warnings remain in effect for southern and eastern Colorado, with up to a foot of snow expected in some areas.
The National Weather Service says communities in the Sangre de Cristo area and southern Colorado can expect eight to 12 inches of snow before noon Tuesday.
Forecasters say up to seven inches of snow is expected on the eastern Plains.
Ski resorts in southwestern Colorado reported 1 to 2 feet from the system that moved through during the weekend.
