A Douglas County grandmother was issued a summons on suspicion of child abuse after her grandchildren, both under 5, were found walking alone outside Tuesday morning.
The incident happened about 8:50 a.m. near the 3200 block of East County Line Road, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Yolanda Borders, 42, the grandmother, was cited and released.
