Lykke Li is giving Adele a run for her money as 2011’s most exciting pop star, and the Swedish singer will make a stop at the Ogden Theatre tonight. She’s edgy, but not over-the-top like Lady Gaga. And she’s sultry, but without the reliance on pure sex appeal like Beyoncà or Rihanna. No, Lykke Li is something different, something we’re not used to in a major pop star. City and Colour was a surprise highlight at this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival (you can revisit complete coverage on Reverb, ) and the Canadian collective will land at the Ogden Theatre on Saturday.
