LONGMONT — An alleged drunken driver ran into two police cars Tuesday night as they tried to pull him over near Third Avenue and Terry Street, the Longmont Times-Call reported.
According to Longmont police, the man had been evicted with difficulty from a Main Street bar, from which he drove away about 10 mph. Cmdr. Tim Perkins said two police cars tried to get the man to pull over, one moving in front, the other in back.
Instead, Perkins said, the man drove his car into the patrol car in front of him, then backed up and hit the one behind him.
