Multiple traffic accidents snarled traffic on the 6th Avenue freeway today.
Denver Police had to close the eastbound lanes of 6th Avenue at Sheridan Boulevard. They re-opened all lanes by 5:30 p.m.
Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the accident near Sheridan involved four vehicles, but had no other information at this point.
Lakewood Police had earlier blocked eastbound lanes of East 6th Avenue at Garrison Street due to a rollover accident. Eastbound lanes of Kipling Street at 6th were also closed.
That accident was cleared about 4:30 p.m., and the road has been re-opened.
Lakewood Police dispatchers said the accident was not serious.
