Douglas County-based IHS Inc. announced Friday the acquisition of Purvin & Gertz Inc., a global advisory and market research firm.
Purvin, based in Houston, provides technical, commercial and strategic advice to international clients in the petroleum refining, natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil and petrochemical industries. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
