A man was shot Sunday night in a Colorado Springs bar, about an hour after several women brawled inside the same pub, with one woman being hit in the head with a bottle.
The incidents happened at the Irish House Pub, 2001 E. Platte Ave., according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
Police were called to the pub at about 8:30 p.m. on a report of a shooting and a fight.
When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot in the arm and had his forehead grazed by a bullet, police said. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Prior to the shooting, “several women were involved in a fight” and “one woman was struck in the head with a bottle,” police said.
After the brawl, two men “entered the bar and another fight broke out.” That’s when shots were fired.
Police are investigating the incidents, including whether they’re related. No arrests were made Sunday night.
Further details on the condition of the shooting victim were not available.
