Attention, high rollers
Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder is known for its special-event dinners, but the week of Dec. 5 is particularly spectacular: On Dec. 5, San Francisco chef Michael Tusk oversees an extravagant white-truffle dinner ($575 per). And on Dec. 6, Daniel Humm and Will Guidara from New York’s celebrated Eleven Madison Park restaurant will offer dinner and signed copies of their new cookbook ($195 per). Well worth the bucks, if you’ve got them. Call Frasca for reservations: 303-442-6966.
Happy birthday, Imogene Coca
Talk about cutting your teeth: Imogene Coca spent decades working the vaudeville circuit perfecting pratfalls and slapstick before settling in as Sid Caesar’s comic foil on “Your Show of Shows” in the 1950s. The wacky woman, who died in 2001, would be 103 on Friday. Anyone for a Wiki Waki Woo?
