The Mesa County Coroner’s Office this evening released the name of a truck driver killed when his tanker rolled on Interstate 70 Wednesday.
Edward F. McCord, 59, of Grand Junction died in the crash near Clifton, where he rolled the empty water tanker into the median.
An initial autopsy did not offer a reason why he might have lost control of his tanker, the coroner’s office stated. He died from injuries from the crash.
Other tests, included toxicology, have commenced.
