Denver police on Saturday released the name of a 64-year-old woman being held in connection with a hit-and-run accident that critically injured a pedestrian.
Roberta Marie Roberts turned herself in Friday night following a mid-morning accident in which an SUV backed over a man in a parking lot at 1200 Federal Blvd.
Roberts was being held for investigation of careless driving causing serious bodily injury and felony hit and run.
Roberts was driving with a suspended license at the time of the incident, according to police.
The victim, whose name has not been released, remains hospitalized with critical injuries.
