ST. LOUIS — Tyson Foods’ net income for the fourth quarter was less than half of what it was last year, the meat producer said Monday, with higher grain costs offsetting better prices and revenue.
Tyson posted a net income of $97 million, 26 cents per share for the final quarter of the year, compared with $213 million, 57 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue climbed 13 percent to $8.4 billion.
