EVANS — Evans police are investigating the robbery of a beer delivery truck driver late Friday outside a liquor store.
According to a news release from Evans police, during the robbery, the truck driver was sprayed in the face with pepper spray
The incident happened at 11:53 p.m. at 85 Liquor, 3705 W. Service Road, after the driver of a Budweiser truck had made his delivery to the store. He stepped around the back corner of his truck and was sprayed with an unknown substance in the face, and a suspect or suspects took a bag of cash.
