GOLDEN, Colo.—Four Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies have been cleared in the death of a drug suspect.

The coroner says Russell Arnold Jr. died from a methamphetamine overdose after deputies used a stun gun on him in June.

Jefferson County sheriff’s spokesman Mark Techmeyer tells the Denver Post () the case is tragic but deputies didn’t do anything wrong.

The deputies were responding to reports of a man who was acting strange. They were not identified.
