PINE, Colo.—A family of four has been rescued after they got lost searching for a Christmas tree.

Jefferson County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jacki Kelley says the family was in the Buffalo Creek area looking for a Christmas tree to cut down when they realized they were lost on Sunday afternoon.

The family called for help and a search party rescued them.

KDVR-TV ( ) says it is not known if the family got their tree.
