GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction man is being held on $1 million bond after he was accused of injuring a Drug Task Force officer during a methamphetamine raid.

Police said 39-year-old Robert Nelson is being held on suspicion of possession and distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest, vehicular eluding, reckless driving, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and special-offender charges.

According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (), the unidentified officer had knee surgery at a local hospital Thursday. His condition was not available.
