Eric Larson has worked on Telluride’s ski patrol for 12 years, with the past decade on the resort’s esteemed snow safety team. He has been skiing for 35 years. A look at a few of his favorite things:
Favorite run: The San Joaquin Couloir, Bear Creek outside Telluride Ski Resort.
Most rewarding part of job: The early-morning starts for avalanche control work and hiking high on the alpine ridges toward Palmyra Peak.
