EAGLE, Colo.—The trial for a man suspected of fatally shooting one person and wounding three others in a Vail bar is being moved after few people showed up for jury duty.

According to the Vail Daily ( ), the number of jurors who showed up Friday and Monday were far short of the 450 jurors summoned for the trial of 63-year-old Richard Moreau.

Moreau has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other felony charges in shootings at the Sandbar in 2009.

Dr. Gary Bruce Kitching of Carbondale died after being shot three times.

Defense attorneys say they’ll present evidence that Moreau, a Vietnam veteran, has post-traumatic stress disorder.

A judge ruled Monday a jury outside Eagle County, but still within the Fifth Judicial District, will hear the evidence.
